The Central Michigan Chippewas are struggling this seasonand they look to get revenge against Miami (OH) after losing to the Redhawks on January 8th. CMU is 0-4 in MAC play and 2-5 on the road this season. Chris Fowler is averaging 17.1 points and 5.1 assists to lead the Chippewas. CMU as played the 250th ranked schedule in the nation.
Miami is 5-0 against the spread in their last five games, 4-0 against the spread against the MAC, and 4-0 against the spread following a game that they covered the point spread. Central Michigan is 5-2-1 against the spread following a game that they covered the point spread, 0-3-1 against the spread following a loss, and 1-5 against the spread against a team with a losing record. The underdog has covered the point spread in five of the last seven meetings of these two.
Central Michigan has been a disaster and while I would love to take a play on the revenge factor Miami is the better play here.
