The Louisville Cardinals make the trip south to square off with the South Florida Bulls.
Louisville looks like a National Championship contender once again although taking care of business in the AAC is priority number one. The Cardinals stayed with Cincinnati after a 76-64 decision at Connecticut upped their conference mark to 5-1. The Cardinals flexed some muscle at both ends of the floor with 45.6% from the field outdistancing the Huskies 35% accuracy. Russ Smith pumped in 23 points to pace the offense with Montrezl Harrell following with an 18 point, 13 board performance while the duo of Luke Hancock and Wayne Blackshear added 13 and nine points respectively.

South Florida has struggled with their early conference schedule with a 1-4 mark although they played their best game in the league thus far versus Cincinnati on Saturday. Unfortunately that didn't result in a win as the Bulls fell short by a 61-54 count where the generally dependable offense couldn't find the scoring touch. The defense did surprisingly well by holding the Bearcats to 43% from the field but could only respond with 39% themselves. Javontae Hawkins led the way with 15 points on 6-9 from the field with Victor Rudd tossing in another 12 points with 12 pulls while the combo of John Egbunu and Martino Brock netted 20 points.
Louisville as double digit favorites is as common as sand in a sandbox but they are capable. I still hate backing big favorite on the road but they generally do well versus South Florida...
