The Tulane Green Wave go out on the road in search of a win at the East Carolina Pirates.
Tulane has done well considering the defense allows more then the offense has scored although long term this isn't a way to achieve success although that wasn't a problem versus struggling Rice in a 58-41 decision. The Green Wave jumped out to a 14 point lead after 20 minutes and neve looked back with 39% shooting outdistancing the Owls 28% who also gave the ball away 16 times. Jay Hookled the offense with 17 points and seven rebounds with Louis Dabney netting 12 while Payton Henson and Cameron Reynolds chipped in with eight points apiece.

Although East Carolina brings an 11-7 record to the table thus far I'm not sure this team is consistent enough to challenge in the CUSA. Things have not gone favorably for the Pirates the last few weeks with losses in five of six after the offense stalled in a 68-64 defeat at Florida International. The Golden Panthers owned a 52%-44% shooting edge which accounted for a few more baskets to secure the win. The Green Wave received 15 points, seven pulls and seven helperd from Paris Roberts-Campbell while Michael Zangari connected for 15 followed by Caleb White and Antonio Robinson combining for 21 points.
Nether team has played a difficult schedule but for the sake of argument the Pirates have played their's better. I'm not sure there is night and day difference here so I am leaning to the points...
