The Line: Murray State Racers -7.5 -- Over/Under: See the Latest Odds
After losing at home to Southeast Missouri State, Tennessee Tech will take its act on the road to play Murray State, a team that has dominated the Golden Eagles over the years.
The Racers are atop the Ohio Valley Western Division and have won five of their last six games. They’re also an impressive 8-1 straight up and 5-1 against the spread on their home floor. They have several players who can score a lot, including freshman guard Cameron Payne, who has scored more than 20 points in five games this season. He’s also averaging close to four assists per game.

Tennessee Tech is just 3-6 straight up on the road this season. That says a lot in itself for a schedule that really hasn’t been that difficult. The Golden Eagles don’t have a single player averaging double-digit points and are allowing teams to shoot 46.6 percent from the field. In the loss on Saturday, Tennessee Tech allowed 83 points on nearly 50 percent shooting and 49 rebounds.
If Southeast Missouri State was able to put up those kind of numbers, there’s no telling what Murray State is capable of. It’s a team that’s great offensively and defensively.
Take the Racers, as they are 5-0 against the spread in their last five home games. The favorite is also 12-4 against the spread in the last 16 meetings between these two teams.
Murray State should have no problem getting the job done here.
