The Milwaukee Panthers get together with the Detroit Titans at U.S. Cellular Arena on Friday.
Detroit probably over achieved early on with their lineup from a season ago wiped clean. Things might have caught up to the Titans who are in the midst of a four game slide where they are struggling in all areas. A poor second half led to a 77-63 defeat at Youngstown State with 42.6% from the floor and ten more shots unable to keep pace with the Penguins 54.5% marksmanship. Juwan Howard Jr. led the offense with 20 points and six pulls followed by Evan Bruinsma who tossed in another 15 while four others scored between 5-6 points.

Offensively minded Milwaukee hasn't been lighting up the scoreboard the last few weeks and that has hurt the record with defeats in three of four. A 73-57 loss to Wright State was decided early with the Raiders dominating the first half with an 18 point lead behind 45% shooting. The Panthers hit at 41% and were 14-24 at the charity stripe so there were points left on the floor. Kyle Kelm gave Milwaukee 16 points and six yanks with Jordan Aaron netting 15 points and Thierno Niang chipping in with nine. The problem was getting some scoring help outside of the top three.
The play of both teams has been less then inspiring the past few weeks and makes me wonder why touch either. I will take Milwaukee at home and hope for that elusive 40 minute effort...
