The Auburn Tigers are still looking for their first SEC win of the year starting out SEC play at 0-5. Auburn has been fairly close a few times to getting their first conference win but have come up just short against Ole Miss and Mizzou. K.T. Harrell leads the Tigers averaging 19.2 points per game. Chris Denson is averaging 18.9 points, Tahj Shamsid-Deen is averaging 8.8 points, and Allen Payne is averaging 6.9 points and 6.1 rebounds. Auburn is averaging 73.6 points and they are shooting 45.5 percent while defensively they are allowing 71.4 points and their opponents are shooting 43.2 percent. Auburn is right at .500 overall but they are tied with South Carolina for last place in the conference.
Arkansas is 4-1 against the spread in their last five home games, 8-2 against the spread following a game that they didn’t cover the spread, and 1-5 against the spread against the SEC. Auburn is 6-15 against the spread in their last 21 games, 3-13 against the spread following a loss, and 1-7 against the spread in their last eight road games. Auburn is 11-2-1 against the spread in the last 14 meetings of these two.
This is a big number but Auburn isn’t very good this season and on the road they don’t figure here.
