The Memphis Tigers and FedEx Forum play host to the South Florida Bulls in Sunday AAC action.
If South Florida is to make an impact in the AAC it's now or never with the team staring at a 1-5 conference mark. The Bulls have not been a big offense and generally have to control the scoreboard to be successful. USF did not contain the Louisville attack on the way to an 86-47 defeat which was their third consecutive setback. The Cardinals played with a chip on their shoulder with a 23 point lead after 20 minutes before continuing the carnage in the second half. The Bulls were limited to 26% shooting and gave the ball away 22 times with Chris Perry the only double digit scorer with ten points with the entire ten man rotation scoring.

Memphis and their high paced attack is averaging almost 81 points which has them in a third place tie in the conference at 4-2 with Southern Methodist. Even though there is plenty of season left the Tigers don't want to fall too far behind Cincinnati and Louisville with SMU and Connecticut waiting for a slip as well. There was no slip up an 82-57 rout of Houston that was decided in the first half with the Tigers up by 15. Nearly 59% marksmanship accounted for ten more field goals to outdistance the 43% shooting Scarlet Knights. The scoring parade received 20 pointsand six yanks from Shaq Goodwin with Joe Jackson adding 18 points and seven assists followed by Michael Dixon Jr. and his 13 points.
Memphis won the first meeting by 15 on the road so do they pull out another big win against the same foe? I'll back potential here with no real angle otherwise to me but I'm not betting this...
