Minnesota is 3-4 away from home and they have played the eighth ranked schedule in the nation. Andre Hollins is the Golden Gophers leading scorer averaging 16.2 points per game. Austin Hollins is averaging 11.8 points and 6.3 rebounds, Deandre Mathieu is averaging 11.6 points, and Malik Smith is averaging 9.8 points. Minnesota is averaging 75.4 points and they are shooting 44.5 percent while defensively they are allowing 67.8 points and their opponents are shooting 41.8 percent. All of Minnesota’s losses have come to teams with a RPI better than 100 with four of them coming against RPI’s better than 50.
Nebraska is 4-0 against the spread against the Big Ten, 4-1 against the spread against a team with a winning record, and 18-7-1 against the spread following a loss.
