The Central Florida Knights take the hardwood with the Memphis Tigers at UCF Arena Wednesday.
Memphis is out to top the AAC but there is zero room for error with the team tied for third with Southern Methodist at 5-2. The Tigers played like a team on a mission in an 80-58 rout of South Florida as they opened a double figure first half lead and never let up. This is as complete a team as there is in the conference when they are clicking at both ends of the floor as they were here. The offense hit at 49% from the field including 10-22 from long range to easily out distance the cold shooting Bulls 34%. Chris Crawford paced the scoring with 15 points with Joe Jackson on his heels with 14 followed by a 13 point, ten board effort from Shaq Goodwin. Nick King added ten points while Geron Johnson and Michael Dixon Jr. rounded out the scoring with eight points each.

Central Florida brings in some pretty good offensive numbers to the table but the defense has struggled and the scoring has been down which isn't the formula for success in the AAC. The problems seemed to play in to the strength of Cincinnati with the 69-51 final saying as much. UCF mustered 38.5% marksmanship and were only 6-17 at the line which made the hot 47% accuracy of the Bearcats a winning performance. Calvin Newell and Staphon Blair tossed in 12 and eleven points with Isaiah Sykes checking in with nine points, eight rebounds and six assists. Production outside of the top three was difficult to come by versus the tough Bearcats D.
If Memphis plays as they have I would not like to go against them but personally I think this is too many points to give on the road because Central Florida won't lose forever plus I am not a big chalk type player...
