Storyline: Eastern Michigan looks to snap a two-game skid when they host Bowling Green at the Convocation Center Wednesday.
The Breakdown: The Eagles are in third place in the MAC-West at 3-3, falling 58-56 to Ohio Saturday when junior Bobcats G Javarez Willis buried a three-pointer with 28 seconds remaining. Both sides had trouble finding the basket, with E. Michigan shooting 34.5 percent from the field to Ohio’s 33.3 percent. The Eagles were also outrebounded 45-42. Senior F Glenn Bryant scored a team-high 14 points off the bench to go along with 7 rebounds and junior F Karrington Ward added 13 points and 10 boards. E. Michigan scored the first 9 points of the game and led 30-22 at the break, only building on their advantage in the second half and going up by as many as 12. Ohio stormed back late, however, tying it at 55 with just over one minute to play, setting up the game-winner. On the season, the Eagles are averaging 67.2 ppg on 41.4 percent shooting and Ward leads the team with 13.7 ppg.

Bowling Green, meanwhile, is in 5th place in the MAC-East with a league record of 3-3 and come in off a 70-65 loss to Miami-Ohio Saturday. The Falcons were outshot from the field 46.7 percent to 41.8 percent, but hit 10 of 23 from outside the arc to the RedHawks 6 of 16. Bowling Green also finished with a 34-30 advantage on the boards, but committed 14 turnovers. Junior G Jehvon Clarke scored a game-high 22 points to go along with 6 assists and junior G Anthony Henderson added 15 points. On the season, the Falcons are averaging 63.3 ppg on 42.8 percent shooting and junior G Chauncey Orr leads the team with 14.0 ppg.
