The James Madison Dukes take the floor at Matthews Arena to face the rival Northeastern Huskies.
James Madison has really had a tough time putting the ball in the basket and that has been their downfall during a four game slide that was ended with a 58-56 decision over College of Charleston. Defense and a slow pace were just enough with both teams struggling to find the shooting range. Jackson Kent led a trio of double digit scorers with 17 points and five pulls with Andre Nation checking in with 14 points six boards while Ron Curry and Andrey Semenov tossed in 12 and eight points with Semenov grabbing another six rebounds.

Northeastern hasn't been the force they were in the Colonial a year ago but they have been playing things close to the vest once conference play began. The ball control Huskies earned back to back decisions with a complete effort in a 70-57 win over Hofstra on the road. A 40-24 second half run erased a three point hole behind 52% from the field that included an impressive 9-13 from long range. The defense held up their end of the bargain as well by limiting the Pride to under 41% accuracy and forcing 13 turnovers. Demetrios Pollard tossed in a contest best 25 points and six assists with Scott Eatherton adding 18 points and seven boards while David Walker and Zach Stahl combined for 19 points.
Northeastern on the first meeting by four at James Madison and I could see a rout here with the Dukes having some ugly numbers. I'm actually looking at the points in what should be fairly close or so I hope but Charles Cooke has to be 100% or I'm not real comfortable...
