The North Dakota Fighting Sioux go on the road for a match up with the Eastern Washington Eagles.
The fate of North Dakota could very well be decided in the next week or so wher they will be on the road where they have posted a 1-6 record. Perhaps a little hot streak will carry the Fighting Sioux who have won three in a row after upending visiting Northern Arizona. Both teams sank half their looks but UND forced 16 turnovers and launched 13 more shots including 13 bombs. Jamal Webb gave the offense 15 points with Aaron Anderson and Cole Stefan tosssing in 13 points each followed by Jaron Nash and Ryan Salmonson with 12 and ten points.

Eastern Washington can really light up the scoreboard at nearly 75 points but opponents are averaging 76 points which somewhat explains their record. The Eagles let one get away in a 92-83 loss at Portland State on Monday as a ten point lead quickly disappeared when the Vikings hung an incredible 63 points on the scoreboard in the second half. PSU sank shots at a 52.6% pace with EWU countering with 49% but 19 giveaways had a hand in their demise. Eastern Washington received a game high 32 points and six pulls from Ognjen Miljovic on 11-14 from the field with Tyler Harvey tossing in 18 followed by Venky Jois and his eleven point, ten rebound effort.
I see North Dakota can't win on the road but most of their road losses came against superior teams. Still the numbers aren't pretty for either side and that means risky in my view...
