The Eastern Michigan Eagles look to move up the MAC standings with a win at Miami (Ohio).
There are a few teams in the MAC that have shown some improvement and I'd throw EasternMichigan in that group. The Eagles rebounded from their meltdown versus Ohio down visiting Bowling Green 69-57 Wednesday. The defense was the top story in this one by limiting the Falcons to only 35.7% from the floor combining with 17 forced turnovers. The Eagles struggled from the floor as well at 40% but did sink eight more free throws. Glenn Bryant was the star of the game with 26 points and ten rebounds followed by Mike Talley with 12 points while Dalen Harrison and Ray Lee scored ten points each with Harrison totaling eight yanks.

Miami (Ohio) had won three in a row and have generally been competitive so it wasn't unreasonable to see them giving Toledo a battle. The Redhawks did but unfortunately that was just for 20 minutes with the Rockets taking a four point lead in to the second and pulling away. The visitors connected at 55% with the Redhawks countering with 41.5% with a brutal 1-17 from beyond the arc setting the tone. Geovonie McKnight led all scorers with 18 points and five pulls with Quinten Rollins next in line with 14 points and five boards while Will Sullivan and Will Felder added eleven and eight points respectively.
Both teams have played better then in previous seasons and there isn't an edge that says bet me. I'll back the home team but this is splitting hairs...
