There’s going to be a great matchup between Richmond and VCU Saturday afternoon. The Spiders remain the biggest surprise in the Atlantic 10 and have won four of their last five, while the Rams have won four in a row since their loss to George Washington.
Both teams play incredible defense, so it might be wise for you to look to the total once it comes out. The Spiders allow only 65.3 points per game and the Rams give up just 65.9 points with their havoc defense. The first team to score 70 in this game could end up being the winner.

Offensively, VCU has been on a tear as of late, averaging close to 80 points per game in their last five. That hasn’t been the case for Richmond, as it has remained close to its season average of 69 points all season long.
This should be a well-played game and could come down to the wire considering VCU is only 2-6 against the spread on its home court. However, both teams are 8-11 against the spread overall and Richmond is 3-7 against the number in its last 10 games against a team with a winning percentage above 60 percent.
You guys should know by now that I really like this VCU squad and it’s always nice when the number isn’t too crazy.
The home team is 6-1 against the spread in the last seven meetings between these two teams.
Give me VCU to cover the spread and to remain undefeated at home.
