The South Florida Bulls look to take down conference leader the Cincinnati Bearcats on Sunday.
South Florida's season can be summed up by their numbers which say not enough scoring and not enough defense with neither helping out the other in conference play. The Bulls received some rare scoring to pick up a 78-71 decision at Southern Methodist that ended a four game slide. USF won the shooting battle 53%-49% which meant a few more baskets that combined with a +6 at the line to secure the win. Victor Rudd paced the scoring with 21 points with Corey Allen Jr. and Chris Perry adding 18 points apiece with the latter grabbing eight boards.

I'm not surprised Cincinnati sits atop the AAC because their defense is absolutely incredible but I am a little surprised they are 9-0 in a very top heavy conference. The Bearcats come off an impressive 69-66 victory over Louisville at the KFC Yum! Center where they slowed down the tempo just enough while sinking shots at a 49% clip. A 17-18 performance at the charity stripe put this in the win column over the 44% shooting Cardinals who had their chances with 12 more looks at the basket. Sean Kilpatrick carried the scoring load with a game high 28 points and five yanks with Justin Jackson and Shaquille Thomas adding eleven points each with eleven and six rebounds respectively.
South Florida has been solid ATS in this match up and we have to worry about a letdown from Cincinnati after knocking off Louisville. The Bearcats win but do they care about how much?
