The Pete Hanna Center will jumping when the Davidson Wildcats visit the Samford Bulldogs.
Davidson had not looked great in their non conference schedule but they have made a dramatic turnaround in the SoCon where they stand at 8-1 in essentially a first place tie with Chattanooga. Both ends of the floor have been clicking with a late burst leading the way to a 62-43 rout of the Citadel. The Wildcats enjoyed an edge in most areas with 50% from the floor including a 9-2 advantage from long range getting the job done. De'Mon Brooks paced the scoring with 23 points and eight pulls with Jake Belford and Brian Sullivan posting 11 and eight points.

Samford doesn't score a ton of points and tends to allow them which explains their overall record but in reality the Bulldogs have usually been competitive in the conference. Samford continued on their little run with wins in three of four after downing Furman 76-68 on Monday. The Paladins put up a fight on 46% shooting with the visitors connecting at 44.6% but the Bulldogs had enough advantages in most areas to secure the victory. Raijon Kelly led four double digit scorers with 19 points followed by Isaiah Williams with 17 while Tim Williams netted 16 points and grabbed ten boards with Tyler Hood chipping in with 12 points and six yanks.
Part of me wants to believe Davidson is back and they have shown they are at times and then I see a first half like we saw versus the Citadel and I think otherwise which puts to much emphasis on guessing to suit me. The normal Davidson covers so hopefully we see that...
