The Dayton Flyers will play their second straight road game when they pay the St. Bonaventure Bonnies a visit.
The Flyers are finally showing signs of life, winning two straight games, which includes a big win over George Washington. The offense continues to shoot a high percentage at 47.7 percent and has scored a combined 159 points in its last two games. It’s the defense that needs to improve, as the Flyers are giving up an average of 72 points on 48.2 percent shooting in their last five games. Despite their struggles for much of the second half of the season, the Flyers are 11-8 against the spread and an impressive 7-3 ATS on the road.

The Bonnies have lost five of their last seven games, but a lot of those losses have been against the top competition in the Atlantic 10. The Bonnies have played UMass, Richmond, George Washington and Saint Louis the last couple of weeks. Even during that brutal stretch they allowed just 42.7 percent shooting and 68.4 points. St. Bonaventure is 12-8 ATS and 7-1 ATS at home.
St. Bonaventure is certainly no pushover and has shown the ability to go toe-to-toe with the best teams in this conference. However, the Flyers know that now is the time to make a late push for an NCAA Tournament bid. They’re playing much better basketball as of late and the shots are finally falling at a high percentage.
Dayton has won nine of the last 10 games against St. Bonaventure SU and has more than enough offensive to get the job done again.
Take the Flyers and the points, as the wrong team is favored in this one.
