The Line: Utah State Aggies -1.5 -- Over/Under: See the Latest Odds
Boise State hopes to rebound from two straight losses when it takes on Utah State Saturday afternoon.
The Broncos are in serious danger of not qualifying for the NCAA Tournament. They’ve blown two straight big leads against UNLV and San Diego State, losing both games. In their last five contests they’re shooting 44.8 percent from the field and allowing 49.3 percent on defense. They have the ability to play terrific basketball at times, but aren’t mentally tough when the going gets tough. Boise State is 6-12 against the spread and 4-5 ATS on the road.

Utah State has lost five of its last six games and is coming off a win against Nevada. The offense hasn’t nearly been clicking the way it has all season. The Aggies shoot 46.8 percent from the field and average 71.6 points on the season. However, they’re averaging just 63.2 points and are shooting 43.2 percent in their last five games. Defensively, they give up 66.7 points per game. The Aggies are 11-8-1 against the spread this season and 7-3-1 ATS at home.
This is a tough game to cap because you just don’t know the mindset of Boise State. Will the two straight losses motivate them to play better or will it crush them and destroy their season?
With doubt up in the air, it's usually better to take the home team and the points. However, the line is all out of whack. Odds makers are giving the Broncos points? You would jump all over this line if you were smart.
Take Boise State and the small points. The home team should win this game.
