Hi, I’m a red flag. Nice to meet you.

These teams met a couple of weeks ago and Air Force won the game 77-62 thanks to shooting above 56 percent.
During the Falcons last five games, they’ve been shooting anything but that percentage. In fact, they’re shooting under 40 percent from the field, under 30 percent from beyond the arc and averaging just 56 points. Defensively, teams are scoring 68 points on 43.4 percent shooting. The Falcons have been a solid shooting team, averaging 45.8 percent on the season but they just can’t figure things out lately. Against the spread they are 10-7 on the season and 5-2 on the road.
The Spartans have just been absolutely brutal. They shoot 38.4 percent from the field and are lucky to score 60 points per game. In fact, they haven’t come close to 60 points in six straight games. Defensively, teams are averaging 73.4 points on 44.2 percent shooting. It’s been an absolute nightmare of a season, which is why they’re 9-12 ATS and 3-4 ATS at home.
A pick’em game is absolutely surprising given that Air Force is by far the better team in this matchup. Sure, the Falcons are in a bit of a slump of their own, but it’s been nothing like what the Spartans have been experiencing the last month. We’re talking about a team that hasn’t won a game in 2014 yet.
The Falcons are 4-1 ATS in their last five road games and just beat up San Jose State a few weeks ago.
Give me the better team on the road in what shouldn’t be a toss-up game.
