The Ohio Bobcats visit Savage Hall looking to take down MAC frontrunner the Toledo Rockets.
Ohio is right in the middle of several teams that are quite capable of winning the conference and probably the most exciting to watch as they have played them tight. Too tight Saturday for the coaching staff is my guess as the Bobcats rallied from a 15 point halftime deficit to upend Miami (Ohio) 82-75. The difference was Ohio's 52.7%-47% shooting edge that was bolstered with an 11-29 perfomance from distance. Nick Kellogg poured in a contest best 27 points followed by a 23 point, five yank effort from Travis Wikins with Maurice Ndour and Jon Smith adding 14 and nine points with Ndour snagging eight boards.

Toledo is the most explosive offensive team in the conference at 83 points per game which is #12 nationally and the reason this team is in a first place tie with Akron in the MAC. Their scoring ability was once again on full display in an 80-73 victory at Ball State behind 49% accuracy. The defense defended the shot well at 39% given up while forcing 21 turnovers to further disrupt the Cardinals attack. Rian Pearson paced the scoring spree with 20 points and six pulls with Julius Brown next in line with 18 points on 6-10 shooting before fouling out in 25 minutes. Justin Drummond added another 12 points followed by Nathan Boothe with eleven points in 21 minutes as he also fouled out.
This should be a good one after Ohio just beat Toledo in overtime so I'm looking for the Rockets to be up for this. I don't know if Drummond is playing after getting a DUI but I'm depending on him so check the lineups...
