The Cleveland State Vikings tangle with the Illinois-Chicago Flames at the CSU Convocation Center.
I have followed Illinois-Chicago for a long time and getting both ends of the floor on the same page has been an issue for a long time. Both units came up short in an 81-70 loss at Green Bay that saddled the team with a 13 game slide. This was a three point deficit after 20 minutes but the strong effort couldn't be sustained for a full 40 minutes. The Flames struggled from the field at 40% but stayed competitive with the 51% shooting Phoenix with eleven more looks at the basket before fading late. Jordan Harks led a trio of DD scorers with 17 points and 12 pulls with Pat Birt adding 16 points while Marc Brown chipped in eleven.

Cleveland State has taken a step forward from a year ago and the result is second in the Horizon with an 8-3 record and one game behind first place Green Bay. The Vikings can do a little of everything with an emphasis on scoring the basketball at 75 points per contest. CSU posted win number six in a row following a 72-68 victory at Wright State which was their fourth straight road contest. The Vikings 53% shooting carried the daywhich was about the only difference in the boxscore. Charlie Lee caried the scoring with a game high 25 points with Anton Grady tossing in 15 points and snagging 12 rebounds followed by Bryn Forbes and and Jon Harris with a combined 19 points.
Cleveland State is on a roll as they return home after four consecutive road contests. Don't sleep on Illinois-Chicago with the big spread because this is a lot of points. I'm just going with potential with this being more of a guess given the number...
