The Dartmouth Big Green travel to the Newman Arena to tangle with the Cornell Big Red.
Dartmouth won't be challenging in the Ivy League but in a conference where anybody can beat anybody on any given day, they are a perfect spoiler. That's about all they can expect with a point starved offense that struggles for consistency. A 72-62 loss to visiting Brown is what happens when the points are scarce and the defense is on their lonesome. The Bears were held to 38% which was still good enough with a 27-16 edge at the stripe combining with the Big Green's 34% shooting. John Golden gave the team 17 points with Alex Mitola and Tyler Melville tossing in 13 and 12 points respectively.

I don't think there is much to say about Cornell's season to date because their record says it all with the lone win coming against a sub division squad. The Big Red struggles at both ends of the floor are obvious problems that were further highlighted in a 69-48 loss at Princeton on Saturday. A 16 point first half deficit ended this from a competitive stand point as this team is not built to come back. The Tigers connected at 49% with eleven bombs to outdistance the Big Red's 34% which was further complicated by 16 turnovers. Production was difficult to come by with Nolan Cressler the only double digit scorer although eleven players did find the scoring column.
I really have no edge here with numbers that say either team has a shot. Dartmouth is the better squad but I'm going with the points and I don't really know why...
