The Line: New Mexico Lobos -13.5 -- Over/Under: See the Latest Odds
The Nevada Wolf Pack will go on the road in hopes of pulling off the upset against the New Mexico Lobos.
The Wolf Pack have lost three straight games and have fallen to 7-5 in conference play. During their last five contests, they’re scoring just 69 points and shooting 42.3 percent from the field, which are both below their season averages. However, they are allowing 70.8 points on 40.5 percent shooting, which is much better than their season numbers. The Wolf Pack have just been getting outplayed recently. Of course, it would have helped if they didn’t turn the ball over 12 times and made more than 59.4 percent of their free throws in the lost to Fresno State. The Wolf Pack are 13-11 ATS and 8-4 ATS on the road.

The Lobos are coming off a shocking 71-70 loss to Boise State after dominating much of the game. They went ice cold in the second half and allowed the Broncos to nail 11 threes. Still, they covered the spread in that game. This is still one of the more balanced teams in the Mountain West, as they shoot 45.2 percent and average 76.2 points, while the defense allows 69.4 points on 39.8 percent shooting. They’re also one of the better rebounding teams that averages 38.3 boards per game. Against the spread, they are 9-10 and 3-5 at home.
The Wolf Pack have lost three straight road games and allow teams to shoot 46 percent from the field on the road. That’s not a great sign going up against the Lobos, a team that is 9-2 SU at home and that shoots 48.2 percent in front of their home fans.
New Mexico is 6-1 ATS in its last seven games and 12-3-1 ATS in its last 16 games against a team with a losing SU record.
The Lobos will be out to make up for their loss to Boise State and won’t have trouble covering the spread in the process.
