Storyline: Santa Clara looks to build on its first victory in a month when it welcomes San Francisco to the Leavey Center Saturday.

The Dons topped the Cougars from the floor 49.1 percent to 41.7 percent and from outside the arc 35.7 percent to 28.6 percent. San Francisco conceded a 47-29 advantage on the boards and struggled from the free throw line, converting just 6 of 11. Sophomore G Tim Derksen scored a team-high 17 points off the bench, sophomore C Mark Tollefsen had 12 points on 4 of 7 shooting, and senior F Cole Dickerson added 10 points and 6 rebounds. Through 25 games, the Dons are averaging 76.5 ppg on 48.1 percent shooting. Dickerson leads the team with 14.6 ppg.
