The Wake Forest Demon Deacons dropped to 14-10, 4-7 ACC after losing at North Carolina State 82-67 on Tuesday night. On the season, Codi Miller-McIntyre is averaging a team-high 14.4 points and 4 assists per game. Devin Thomas is averaging 11.4 points per game while also averaging a team-high 8 rebounds per contest. The Demon Deacons are averaging 70.8 points per game while shooting 44.7% from the field as a team this season. Wake Forest is one of the better rebounding teams in the ACC, pulling down over 37 boards per game. The Demon Deacons have lost four straight games and have not played great in conference play. Wake Forest will be back home after playing two straight road games; the Demon Deacons are 3-2 at home against ACC competition.
Florida State is not playing well right now and it seems like half the team could care less about the outcome of their games. Wake Forest has struggled over the past two weeks, but they have played some tough opponents in Duke, NC State, and Syracuse. I think the Demon Deacons get the win and cover at home on Saturday.
