The Stanford Cardinal are 3-2 in their last five games and they sit in sixth place in the Pac-12 standings. Stanford is 6-5 in the Pac-12 and 6-5 way from home this season. Chasson Randle leads the Cardinal in scoring averaging 18.7 points per game. Stanford is averaging 75.4 points and they are shooting 46.7percent while defensively they are allowing 69.4 points and their opponents are shooting 41.5 percent. Stanford has been tough to figure out winning games they don’t figure to win and losing games that should be winnable.
Washington State is 5-2 against the spread in their last seven home games and 4-1 against the spread in their last five home games against a team with a winning road record. Stanford is 6-1 against the spread following a loss, 4-1 against the spread against the Pac-12, and 5-0 against the spread against a team with a losing record. The underdog has covered the point spread in five of the last seven meetings of these two.
My free pick in this one is going to be on the total and at 129 it is a small lean to the over. My stronger play is on who will cover the spread and I will post that in the Premium Area as well as on the App.
