The Wake Forest Demon Deacons travel to Maryland to play the Terps on Tuesday night.
The Wake Forest Demon Deacons dropped to 14-11, 4-8 ACC after losing to Florida State at home 67-60 on Saturday. On the season, Codi Miller-McIntyre is averaging a team-high 14.4 points and 4 assists per game. Devin Thomas is averaging 11.4 points per game while also averaging a team-high 8 rebounds per contest. The Demon Deacons are averaging 70.8 points per game while shooting 44.7% from the field as a team this season. Wake Forest is one of the better rebounding teams in the ACC, pulling down over 37 boards per game. The Demon Deacons have lost five straight games and have not played great in conference play. Wake Forest will hit the road where they have lost their last three of four games.

The Maryland Terps dropped to 14-12, 6-7 ACC after losing at Duke 69-67 on Saturday night. On the season, the Terps are led by Dez Wells, who is averaging a team-high 15 points per game. Seth Allen is averaging a second-best 12.5 points per game along with a team-high 3.3 assists per game. Charles Mitchell is averaging 6.7 points per game and a team-high 6.5 rebounds per contest. The Terps are shooting 44% from the field while averaging 72 points per game as a team this season. Maryland is one of the better rebounding teams in the ACC, averaging just over 37 boards per game. Maryland has lost three out of four, and five out of their last eight overall. The Terps will head home for this matchup; Maryland has won their three of their last four home games in conference play.
Wake Forest has been struggling to say the least and it won’t help that they will be playing away from home on Tuesday. Maryland almost came away with a huge win on the road Saturday and they should have some momentum coming into this one. I think the Terps get the job done at home, but Wake Forest will cover the spread.
