The Auburn Tigers are coming off of a win against Mississippi State that put an end to their two game losing skid. Auburn is 4-8 in the SEC, 1-7 away from home, and 0-3 against teams ranked in the top 25. Chris Denson is averaging 20.9 points per game to lead the Tigers in scoring. K.T. Harrell is averaging 19.2 points, Tahj Shamsid-Deen is averaging 9.4 points, and Allen Payne is averaging 7.2 points and 5.7 rebounds. Auburn is averaging 73.9 points and they are shooting 44.9 percent while defensively they are allowing 72 points and their opponents are shooting 42.8 percent. Auburn lost by seven at home in the first meeting of these two teams.
Florida is 6-1 against the spread in their last seven Wednesday games and 2-5 against the spread in their last seven games against Auburn. Auburn 5-0 against the spread following a win, 3-8 against the spread in their last 11 road games, and 5-15 against the spread against a team with a winning record. The underdog has covered the point spread in five of the last seven meetings of these two.
This is a monster number in a series dominated by the underdog and while it is just a lean I will take Auburn and the points with Florida coming off of the emotional win.
