The Line: St. Bonaventure Bonnies -11 -- Over/Under: See the Latest Odds
The Saint Bonaventure Bonnies will hope to keep the ball rolling when they host the Duquesne Dukes. These teams met a couple of weeks ago and the Dukes won an 83-81 thriller.
Since then, the Dukes have lost four of their last five games, but are coming off a decent road win over Rhode Island. During this stretch, they’re averaging just 65.8 points on 41 percent shooting and allowing 72.4 points on 46.2 percent shooting. Of course, defense has been the issue for this team all season, as opponents are shooting 46 percent on the season. The Dukes have allowed 70-plus points in 11 of their last 12 games. They are 8-5-2 ATS on the season and 5-2-1 ATS on the road.

The Bonnies have won three of their last five games, including two straight road wins over Fordham and George Mason. During this stretch, they’re averaging 74 points on 44.7 percent shooting, while allowing 67.8 points on 43 percent shooting. At home they are even better, averaging 75 points and allowing just 62 points. Senior guard Matthew Wright is coming off a 24-point performance. They are 14-9 ATS overall and 7-2 ATS on their home court.
The Bonnies are clearly the better team, have been playing terrific basketball as of late and have been lights out ATS on their home floor. The Dukes have struggled all year against the better teams in the Atlantic 10, and the Bonnies can make a case for the most underrated.
St. Bonaventure will have revenge on its mind, and it has won three of the last four meetings against Duquesne SU. The Bonnies are also 6-1 ATS in their last seven games played on Wednesday.
Go ahead and take Saint Bonaventure and the chalk.
