The Colorado State Rams will look to snap their three-game losing streak when they host the Wyoming Cowboys.
The Cowboys have won three straight games and are playing some of their best basketball of the season with the conference tournament right around the corner. In their last five games, they’re shooting 46.1 percent from the field, while holding their opponents to just 38.2 percent shooting. They haven’t allowed a team to score 70 points in 11 straight games. On the road, they’re averaging 57 points and allowing 58.8 points. They are 14-7-2 ATS overall and 6-3-2 ATS on the road.

The Rams have lost a few heartbreakers and a lot of it has to do with poor defense. In their last five games, they’re averaging 68.6 points on 41.2 percent shooting, but they’re allowing opponents to score 68.6 points on 46.2 percent shooting. The high percentage shooting has resulted in three straight opponents scoring at least 71 points. At home, they average 74 points and allow 68.1 points. They are 6-14-1 ATS overall and 3-9 ATS at home.
Colorado State has an absolute huge advantage on the boards and the home crowd, but I’m not sure that’s enough to beat Wyoming. It’ll help keep the game close, but I’m seeing a SU Cowboys victory.
Wyoming has remained that elite defensive team, but it’s shown over the last week or so that it can put the points on the board as well. I’m not sure the Rams can match the consistent play at both ends of the floor, as they have been outplayed by lesser teams recently.
The Cowboys are 4-1-1 ATS in their last six road games, while the Rams are 8-21-1 ATS in their last 30 games overall.
I’ll take the points and the overall better team.
