The Line: Tulane Green Wave -8.5 -- Over/Under: See the Latest Odds
The Tulane Green Wave look to get back on track when they host the Texas-San Antonio Roadrunners.
The Roadrunners have lost five of their last six games and simply can’t buy a basket at the moment. In their last five, they’re averaging 65.2 points and shooting 38.4 percent from the field, while the defense is allowing 74.2 points on 44.5 percent shooting. They’ve allowed 80 or more points in four of their last six games. On the road it’s been even worse, as they average only 65 points and allow 81.5 points. They are 6-11 ATS overall and 2-7 ATS on the road.

The Green Wave have won three of their last five games, with the two losses coming at the hands of the best teams in the C-USA. During that stretch, they’ve averaged 63.2 points on 42.6 percent shooting and have allowed 70.2 points on 41.9 percent shooting. Not great numbers, but those two blowout losses to UTEP and Middle Tennessee really impact those significantly. At home they average 65.9 points and shoot 41.6 percent, while the defense allows 66.1 points on 42.7 percent shooting. They are 11-10 ATS overall 6-4 ATS at home.
The Green Wave desperately need this win in order to position themselves better for the C-USA Tournament. They are a decent team at home, while the Roadrunners have been absolutely brutal on the road.
Even though the chalk is a little too steep for my taste, this pick is either Tulane or no play.
The Green Wave are 5-1 ATS in their last six home games against teams with a losing road record and are 4-0 ATS in their last four games following an ATS loss. The Roadrunners are 2-8 ATS in their last 10 road games.
Pick Tulane or walk away.
