The North Carolina State Wolfpack travel to Virginia Tech to play the Hokies on Saturday afternoon.
The North Carolina State Wolfpack dropped to 16-10, 6-7 ACC after losing at Clemson 73-56 on Tuesday night. On the year, T.J. Warren leads the Wolfpack with 23 points and 7.2 rebounds per game, both team-highs. Anthony Barber is averaging 9.8 points per game and a team-high 3.8 assists per game. The Wolfpack are averaging 70.4 points per game while shooting 45.8% from the field as a team this season. North Carolina State is a decent rebounding team, averaging 35.3 boards per game. The Wolfpack have lost two straight games after winning five of their last six overall. North Carolina State will finish their three game road trip this weekend; the Wolfpack have lost five of their last six games on the road.

The Virginia Tech Hokies dropped to 9-16, 2-11 ACC after losing to Virginia 57-53 on Tuesday night. On the season, Jarell Eddie is leading the Hokies in scoring and rebounding, averaging 13.4 points and 5.2 rebounds per game. Devin Wilson is averaging 9 points per game along with a team-high 4.6 assists per game. The Hokies are an awful offensive team, averaging only 65.2 points per game while shooting 41.1% from the field as a team this season. The Hokies have lost eleven out of their last twelve games overall, and have only beaten Miami in the ACC this season. The Hokies will be at home this weekend before heading out on the road next week.
Virginia Tech has been competitive in some of their losses in conference play and they only have two more home games this season. The Hokies will have trouble stopping Warren and company on the defensive end of the floor. North Carolina State still has a chance to make some noise in the conference tournament so I think they will come away with the win on the road.
