The Line: Miami (Ohio) RedHawks -3.5 -- Over/Under: See the Latest Odds
The Miami of Ohio RedHawks will look to snap their five-game losing streak when they host the Bowling Green Falcons. These teams met at the end of January, and Miami of Ohio won 70-65.
The Falcons have lost four of their last five games, as they continue to struggle putting the ball in the hoop. They average just 63.8 points on the season and are averaging 64.8 points on 43.8 percent shooting in their last five games. Defensively they’re giving up 64.6 points on 41.1 percent shooting on the season. They average 61.9 points and allow 68.4 points on the road. They are 14-11 ATS overall and 8-5 ATS on the road.

The RedHawks just haven’t been able to catch a break for the longest time. During their losing streak, they’re averaging 59.6 points on 40.7 percent shooting and allowing 70.6 points on 48.1 percent shooting. They’ve topped 70 points only once in their last six games. At home they average 71.4 points and shoot 47.6 percent from the field, while the defense allows 73.3 points on 48.6 percent shooting. They are 12-10 AST overall and 4-5 ATS at home.
Even with all of the struggles the RedHawks have had, you have to believe this is the game they turn it around. They’ve already shown they can beat the Falcons, and Bowling Green has lost three of its last four road games.
Not to mention Miami of Ohio has won three of the last four meetings against Bowling Green SU.
Although the Falcons have the slightly better SU record, they’ve had more than their fair share of struggles on the court as well. The best thing fix for a struggling team is the home crowds’ support.
I’ll take the RedHawks and the slight chalk.
