The San Jose State Spartans will go on the road to face the San Diego State Aztecs. These teams met at the end of January, and the Aztecs won the game easily by a score of 75-50.
The Spartans recently had their 13-game losing streak snapped with a 66-64 victory over the Nevada Wolf Pack. It was their first conference win of the season, as they improve to 1-13 against conference teams. They average 61.8 points on 37.4 percent shooting and allow 70.9 points on 43.1 percent shooting on the season. They also average 63.4 points and give up 75.1 points on the road. They’re 10-13-1 ATS overall and 7-8 ATS on the road.

The Aztecs recently lost just their second conference game of the season, getting shutdown 58-44 to New Mexico. They shot just 32.3 percent from the field and allowed 50 percent shooting to the Lobos. The Aztecs have now split their last four games and are shooting just 40.9 percent from the field in their last five contests. The good news is they have been dominant at home, averaging 67.5 points and allowing just 53.4 points. They are 13-10 ATS overall and 5-6 ATS on their home court.
San Diego State has been a little shaky as of late, having four of its last six games either resulting in a loss or a victory decided by five or less points. However, San Jose State has been absolutely terrible all year and just lost by 25 points to San Diego State at home.
The Aztecs are as good of a home team as you’ll find in college basketball and should have no problem beating up the worst team in the Mountain West.
Pick San Diego State and the chalk. However, wait and see if the number goes down just a little.
