U.S. Cellular Arena and the Milwaukee Panthers welcome the Illinois-Chicago Flames to town Tuesday.
I don't think anything needs to be said regarding the type of season Illinois-Chicago has suffered through as I know this team can certainly read the newspapers. With two games left winning just one to avoid a zero win conference schedule would be huge but they have to put together a better performance then the one we saw in an 86-82 defeat to visiting Oakland on Friday. A 21 point hole after 20 minutes set the tone and the Golden Grizzlies 56%-37% shooting edge made sure there was no come back. The Flames received 16 points and five pulls from Hayden Humes with Pat Birt and Jake Weigand adding 19 ponts with Weigand snagging nine boards.

Milwaukee looked like a sure fire bet to crack the top four in the Horizon a week ago as they were riding a three game winning streak. However things have taken a turn for the worse with th Panthers finding themselves two games behin fourth place Wright State with two to play following a three game skid. The scoring wasn't consistent in this span and the defense struggled withboth having issues in a 74-50 loss to Cleveland State on Saturday. Without leading scorer Jordan Aaron the Panthers fell behind by 15 at the break and never challenged. The Vikings 46%-32% shooting edge and 19 Milwaukee giveaways carried the day with just one DD scorer to lean on. Kyle Kelm led the attack with 13 points while Austin Arians and Cody Wichmann combined for 15 points.
No matter what Milwaukee does they don't control their own fate so a sweep of their final two games likely means fifth. The more pressing concern is will Jordan Aaron play and will he be rusty. If he was 100% I would be on the Panthers but his suspension seems like a day to day thing so just a pick/lean or whatever...
