The Fresno State Bulldogs will look to keep on winning when they host the Boise State Broncos. These teams played back in early January, and Boise State won 86-79 due to knocking down 10 threes.
The Broncos have now won three games in a row, including an overtime home victory over UNLV. They have now made themselves a legitimate Mountain West threat with the way they shoot the ball. In their last five games, they’re averaging 76.2 points on 48.3 percent shooting and allowing 75 points on 51.7 percent shooting. Not much defense, but it hasn’t been needed recently with them knocking down 43.5 of their three-point attempts. On the road, they average 72.8 points and give up 72.2 points. They are 7-15 ATS overall and 5-6 ATS on the road.

The Bulldogs return home from a two-game road trip in which they split. They’ve now won six of their last seven games. During this sudden turnaround, they’re averaging 75.4 points on 44.4 percent shooting and allowing 67.4 points on 41.8 percent shooting. All of those numbers are better than their season averages, which is why they’ve climbed out of the conference cellar. At home they average 75.4 points and give up 71.3 points. They are 15-10-1 ATS overall and 6-6 ATS at home.
There’s no question Boise State has arrived, but it has been shaky away from home, losing three of its last four road matchups. Meanwhile, Fresno State has won three straight home games and has allowed no more than 66 points in those contests.
I’m taking Fresno State and the points.
The Bulldogs are 8-0 ATS in their last eight games and the Broncos are 1-4 ATS in their last five meetings against Fresno State.
Don’t be surprised to see a SU victory.
