The Fighting Irish are shooting 45.4% from the field while averaging 72.4 points per game as a team this season. Notre Dame is a decent rebounding team and they are one of the best teams when it comes to distributing the basketball, averaging 15.5 assists per game. The Fighting Irish have lost seven out of their last ten games overall. Notre Dame will be back at home after a three-game road trip; the Irish are 3-2 in their last 5 home games in conference play.
This is a battle between two mediocre teams that don’t have much to play for at this point in the season. I can’t back this Notre Dame team laying points, even if the game is at home against a struggling Georgia Tech team. I’m take the points with the Yellow Jackets in what should be an ugly ACC game that should not be on national television.
