The Line: College of Charleston Cougars -1 -- Over/Under: See the Latest Odds
In the last regular season game for both teams, the Delaware Fightin Blue Hens will take on the Charleston Cougars. These teams met earlier this month and Delaware won 67-64.
The Blue Hens have been a little shaky as of late, splitting their last four games and barely holding onto the CAA regular season title. In their last five games, the Blue Hens are averaging 72 points on 39.5 percent shooting and allowing 69.2 points on 37.9 percent shooting. It’s been a weird past couple of weeks, as it’s usually the offense that wins this team games. On the road, they average 77.4 points and allow 75.5 points. They are 13-8-1 ATS overall and 9-3-1 ATS on the road.

The Cougars have lost two in a row and five of their last seven games. Unlike the Fightin Blue Hens, they are a slow-paced team that wants to play in the 60s. Just in their last five games, they’re averaging 55.6 points and allowing 54.6 points. They rely heavily on an elite defense that has allowed 60 or fewer points in three of their last four games. At home, they average 65.1 points and allow 61.6 points. They are 10-17 ATS overall and 4-8 ATS at home.
This is an extremely interesting line, as the Blue Hens are the cream of the crop in the CAA. Sure, they haven’t been playing like it recently, but they’re still 13-2 SU in conference play. Charleston is only 6-9 SU against conference teams.
The Cougars are going to put up a fight with their defense that ranks in the Top 20 in the country, but they don’t have an offense that can keep up in this matchup. Those shots are going to start falling eventually for Delaware.
The Blue Hens are 5-1-1 ATS in their last seven road games.
Yeah, I’ll take that and the point.
