The Boston College Eagles travel to Wake Forest to play the Demon Deacons on Saturday afternoon.
The Boston College Eagles dropped to 7-21, 3-12 ACC after losing at home to Pittsburgh 66-59 on Wednesday night. On the season, Olivier Hanlan leads the Eagles with 18 points per game. Ryan Anderson is averaging 14.3 points per game while pulling down a team-high 7.3 rebounds per contest. Boston College is averaging 68.5 points per game while shooting 44.5% from the field as a team this season. The Eagles are one of the worst rebounding teams in the country, pulling down only 30 boards per game. Boston College got back to doing what they do best, losing, after they earned their biggest win of the year over the Orange over a week ago. The Eagles will take the road where they have lost five of their last six games.

The Wake Forest Demon Deacons improved to 15-13, 5-10 ACC after beating Clemson at home on Tuesday night. On the season, Codi Miller-McIntyre is leading the Demon Deacons in scoring and assists, averaging 13.4 points and 4 assists per game. Devin Thomas is averaging 11.2 points per game along with a team-high 7.8 rebounds per game. Wake Forest is averaging 69.8 points per game while shooting 44.9% from the field as a team this season. The Demon Deacons are a good rebounding team, averaging 35.9 boards per contest. Wake Forest had lost seven straight games before earning a win on Tuesday night. The Demon Deacons will stay at home for another conference game; Wake Forest is 2-3 in their last 5 conference home games.
Both of theses teams have struggled throughout the year, but Wake Forest has more talent across the board and they are playing at home. The Eagles young players have shown good effort despite their poor record and the fact they have nothing to play for. The Demon Deacons have nothing to play for as well, but the Demon Deacons would like to have some positive momentum heading into the offseason. Wake Forest is tough to beat at home and I think they will get the win and cover on Saturday.
