The Niagara Purple Eagles visit the Yanitelli Center to take the hardwood with the Saint Peter's Peacocks.
There was once a time that Niagara was one of the more feared squads in the MAAC but that is obviously not the case this season or in the recent past for that matter. A great offense that simply doesn't get much help at the defensive end of the floor has the team bringing up the rear of the conference. The Purple Eagles have dropped nine in a row following a 75-50 defeat at Monmouth where their 31% shooting didn't match the Hawks 51% accuracy. Antoine Mason was the lone double digit scorer with 15 points with Ramone Snowden and Wesley Myers netting seven points each.

Saint Peter's didn't set the world on fire as far as the won/loss record is concerned but if you follow the MAAC you have seen this team in far worse condition. The offensively challenged Peacocks have won three in a row as they knocked off Fairfield 63-62 as an nine point lead at the break barely stood up. The half court attack os SPC sank half their looks with six more makes at the charity stripe being decisive. Desi Washington paced a trio of double digit scorers with 16 points followed by the tandem of Marvin Dominique and Jamel Fields with 12 points apiece with Dominique hauling in ten rebounds.
Sometimes the best bet is the one we don't make...hint, hint. One team doesn't score and one can't stop a leak...
