The Tulsa Golden Hurricanes will look to extend their winning streak to seven games when they play their last home game of the season against the Texas-San Antonio Roadrunners.
The Roadrunners have lost three straight and seven of their last eight games. Don’t worry fans, the season is almost over. On the season, they average 68.5 points on 42.2 percent shooting, but they allow 79.2 points on 48.3 percent shooting. One of the worst defenses in the country, they’ve allowed 80-plus points in four of their last eight games. On the road, they average 64.2 points and allow 80.3 points. They are 6-13 ATS overall and 2-8 ATS on the road.

The Golden Hurricanes are playing their best basketball of the season and have put themselves in a position for a possible C-USA title. During their winning streak, they’re averaging 73 points on 47.7 percent shooting and are allowing 54.4 points on 34.9 percent shooting. That’s 14 points less allowed than their season average and they haven’t allowed more than 65 points during this winning streak. At home, they average 75.1 points and allow 63.9 points. They are 18-7 ATS overall and 8-2 ATS on their home court.
There’s absolutely no reason to take the Roadrunners in this matchup regardless of how many points your book is giving. Sure, 20 or more points is a lot, but UTSA has failed to cover in the two games this season where they were an underdog by at least 20 points.
Meanwhile, the Golden Hurricanes are 8-1 ATS in their last nine home games and are 7-0 ATS in their last seven games following an ATS victory.
I’d wait and see if you can get the line under 20 points or so before pulling the trigger, but either way, this should result in a massive blowout.
