The Buffalo Bulls hope to lockup the East division in the MAC with a victory over the Akron Zips on Tuesday. These teams met a couple of weeks ago, and the Bulls won 96-90.
The Bulls have won four straight and seven of their last eight games. During this stretch, their offense has been taken to another level, as they’re averaging 78.2 points on 49.1 percent shooting in their last five games. They’re even shooting 39 percent from beyond the arc, which is a six-percent increase from their season average. Defensively, they haven’t allowed more than 69 points in their last three games. On the road, the Bulls average 70.1 points and allow 70 points. They are 16-6 ATS overall and 8-5 ATS on the road.

The Zips have really fallen off the map lately, losing four of their last six games. In their last five games, they’re averaging 64 points on 40.6 percent shooting and are allowing 65.6 points on 45.9 percent shooting. Four of their last five losses have been decided by six or less points. At home, the Zips average 66.1 points and allow 58.1 points. They are 8-17 ATS overall and 3-6 ATS on their home court.
The Zips are going to be up for this game, but I’m not they have enough offensive firepower to keep up with the Bulls. In their last meeting, Buffalo shot a ridiculous 63.3 percent from the field.
The Bulls have four of the last five meetings SU and have covered the spread in the last five meetings. They’re also 4-0 ATS in their last four road games and 17-4 ATS in their last 21 games against teams with a winning SU record. The Zips are only 1-8 ATS in their last nine conference games.
Take the Bulls and the points.
