The Kentucky Wildcats and the Alabama Crimson Tide face off on Tuesday in Lexington in SEC college basketball.
The Kentucky Wildcats have lost their last two games as they appear to be losing momentum. UK is 11-5 in the SEC and 15-2 at home this season. Julius Randle leads the Wildcats averaging 15.5 points and 10.4 rebounds per game. James young is averaging 14.6 points, Aaron Harrison is averaging 13.8 points, and Andrew Harrison is averaging 11.1 points. Kentucky is averaging 77.4 points and they are shooting 45.6 percent while defensively they are allowing 67.2 points their opponents are shooting 39.7 percent. Kentucky travels to Florida on Saturday to close out their SEC season making this the final home game for many of their players.

The Alabama Crimson Tide have won two of their last three games to land at 11th place in the SEC standings. Alabama is 6-10 in the SEC and 0-13 on the road this season. Trevor Relford leads the Crimson Tide averaging 18.8 points per game. Retin Obasohan is averaging 9.7 points, Levi Randolph is averaging 9.6 points, and Shannon Hale is averaging 8.5 points. Alabama is averaging 68.4 points and they are shooting 44.5 percent while defensively they are allowing 67.9 points and their opponents are shooting 42.2 percent. This is Alabama’s last chance to win a regular season road game.
Kentucky is 1-4 against the spread in their last five games, 1-5 against the spread against a team with a losing record, and 5-2-1 against the spread in their last eight Tuesday games. Alabama is 6-13-3 against the spread in their last 22 games, 3-9-1 against the spread in their last 13 road games, and 0-8-1 against the spread following a win. Alabama has covered the point spread in five of the last six meetings of these two.
Kentucky is a monster favorite here but they haven’t been playing well at all which is still better than what Bama has shown on the road this year.
