The Virginia Tech Hokies travel to Maryland to play the Terps on Tuesday night.
The Virginia Tech Hokies dropped to 9-19, 2-14 ACC after losing at home to North Carolina 60-56 on Saturday. On the season, Jarell Eddie is leading the Hokies in scoring and rebounding, averaging 13.3 points and 5.3 rebounds per game. Devin Wilson is averaging 9 points per game along with a team-high 4.7 assists per game. The Hokies are an awful offensive team, averaging only 64.6 points per game while shooting 41.2% from the field as a team this season. The Hokies have lost fourteen out of their last fifteen games overall, and have only beaten Miami in the ACC this season. Virginia Tech will be back on the road where they are 1-6 this season.

The Maryland Terps dropped to 15-14, 7-9 ACC after losing to Clemson on the road in overtime 77-73 on Sunday. On the season, the Terps are led by Dez Wells, who is averaging a team-high 14.8 points per game. Seth Allen is averaging a second-best 12.6 points per game along with a team-high 3 assists per game. Charles Mitchell is averaging 6.7 points per game and a team-high 6.4 rebounds per contest. The Terps are shooting 43.6% from the field while averaging 71.2 points per game as a team this season. Maryland is one of the better rebounding teams in the ACC, averaging just over 37.4 boards per game. Maryland has lost five out of seven, and seven out of their last eleven overall. The Terps will at home where they have won three out of their last four against conference opponents this season.
Virginia Tech played well against North Carolina at home on Saturday, but the Hokies have not played well on the road this year. Maryland is coming off a tough loss in overtime on Sunday and they will need to regroup quickly after having just one day off. Maryland needs this win and I think they will blow the Hokies out on Tuesday night.
