The Oregon Ducks and the Arizona State Sun Devils face off on Tuesday in a Pac-12 college basketball battle of two NCAA Tournament hopefuls.
The Oregon Ducks have won five games in a row and they appear to have gotten back into the Big Dance. Oregon is 8-8 in the Pac-12 and 13-3 at home this season. Joseph Young leads the Ducks averaging 18.8 points per game. Mike Moser is averaging 13.5 points and 7.8 rebounds, Jason Calliste is averaging 12.2 points, and Damyean Dotson is averaging 10.2 points. Oregon is averaging 82.8 points and they are shooting 46.7 percent while defensively they are allowing 74.2 points and their opponents are shooting 43.7 percent. Just a few weeks back Oregon was looking like the season was getting away from them.

The Arizona State Sun Devils have won their last two games and five of their last seven as they sit in third place in the Pac-12. ASU is 10-6 in the Pac-12 and 5-7 away from home this season. Jahii Carson is averaging 18.4 points to lead the Sun Devils. Jermaine Marshall is averaging 15.7 points, Jordan Bachynski is averaging 11.2 points and 8.4 rebounds, and Shaquielle McKissic is averaging 8.9 points and 5.3 rebounds. Arizona State is averaging 75.5 points and they are shooting 45.6 percent while defensively they are allowing 67.7 points and their opponents are shooting 40.7 percent. Arizona State looks to be a lock to make the NCAA Tournament field.
Oregon is 6-1 against the spread in their last seven games, 2-7 against the spread in their last nine home games, and 16-5-2 against the spread following a win. Arizona State is 1-5 against the spread in their last six road games and 1-5 against the spread in their last six road games against a team with a winning home record. The underdog has covered the point spread in six of the last eight meetings of these two.
My free in this one is going to be on the total and at 147.5 I still like it to trickle over. My stronger play is on who will cover the spread and I will post that pick in the Premium Area as well as on the App.
