The Western Michigan Broncos hope to get back on track when they host the Northern Illinois Huskies for their last home game of the season. These teams played on February 9, and Western Michigan won 74-71.

The Broncos had their eight-game winning streak snapped on the road to the Toledo Rockets in overtime. In the loss, they were outrebounded by nine and turned the ball over 18 times. On the season, they average 71.7 points on 46 percent shooting and allow 68.7 points on 41.6 percent shooting. At home, they average 76.8 points and allow just 68.1 points. They are 13-11-1 ATS overall and 6-5 ATS on their home court.
I hate laying big chalk on a team that really isn’t that great and has played in back-to-back overtime games against mediocre competition. That’s why I’m going with Northern Illinois and the points.
The Huskies are 8-1-1 ATS in their last 10 games overall and 4-0 ATS in their last four games following a SU loss. Meanwhile, the Broncos are 0-2 ATS this season when favored by double digits, while Northern Illinois is 4-3 ATS when being considered a double-digit dog.
Also, the road team is 6-1-1 ATS in the last eight meetings between these two teams.
Western Michigan should win SU, but I’m taking the points.
