The Indiana Hoosiers and the Nebraska Cornhuskers face off on Wednesday in Bloomington in a Big Ten college basketball battle.
The Indiana Hoosiers have won three of their last four games as they play their final home game of the season. Indiana is 7-9 in the Big Ten and 14-3 at home this season. Kevin Yogi Ferrell leads the Hoosiers averaging 17.7 points per game. Noah Vonleh is averaging 11.6 points and 9.1 rebounds, Will Sheehy is averaging 11.1 points, and Troy Williams is averaging 6.5 points. Nebraska is averaging 66.5 points and they are shooting 42.5 percent while defensively they are allowing 64.7 points and their opponents are shooting 42 percent. Nebraska is in fourth place in the Big Ten standings and with their 52 RPI and 33 strength of schedule they could be in the field for the NCAA Tournament.
Indiana is 4-1 against the spread in their last five home games, 1-4 against the spread following a win, and 1-5 against the spread in their last six home games against a team with a losing home record. Nebraska is 9-2 against the spread against a team wit a winning record, 11-3 against the spread against the Big Ten, and 15-5-1 against the spread following a game that they didn’t cover the spread.
