The Line: Saint Louis Billikens -6.5 -- Over/Under: See the Latest Odds
The Saint Louis Billikens will play their last home game of the season when they host the Dayton Flyers on Wednesday. These teams played back on January 11, and Saint Louis won 67-59.
The Flyers continue to play their best basketball of the season, winning seven of their last eight games. In their last five games, they’re averaging 67.4 points on 40.6 percent shooting and are allowing 66.8 points on 45.1 percent shooting. Some of their struggles this season have come on the road, a place where they’re 6-4 SU. They average 72.6 points and allow 73.1 points on the road. They are 14-11 ATS overall and 8-5 ATS on the road.

The Billikens have now lost two straight games and need this victory to secure the Atlantic 10 regular season title. In both losses they shot the ball poorly, scoring 64 or fewer points apiece. In their last five games, they’re averaging 67.8 points on 45.6 percent shooting and are allowing 68.8 points on 40.4 percent shooting. The good news for them is that they are returning home, a place where they drop 73 points and give up just 60.3 points. They are 9-17 ATS overall and 5-8 ATS on their home court.
As expected, we’re getting this line a little lower than it should be due to the Billikens struggles as of late. I’ll bite. The Flyers have improved, but they’re not nearly as the same level as Saint Louis, especially when the Billikens are at home.
Saint Louis has won four of the last five meetings and all of them were won by at least eight points. When you throw in the fact that it’s senior day and Saint Louis needs this game to lock up the Atlantic 10, expecting a double-digit win isn’t too crazy.
Expect the Billikens to get back on track.
