The Memphis Tigers go on the road to tangle with the Cincinnati Bearcats on Thursday night.
Memphis has to win their final two games and hope for some help to secure a top four finish in the AAC. The Tigers are riding the momentum of one of their biggest wins of the season in a 72-66 defeat of visiting Louisville. The Tigers led by six at the break and survived several Cardinals comebacks with 49% marksmanship outdistancing the 39% accuracy of UL. Michael Dixon Jr. paced the scoring with 18 points with Geron Johnson tossing in 15 points followed Austin Nichols and Chris Crawford adding 14 and 12 points with Nichols posting five pulls.

Cincinnati certainly lost an opportunity to take over first in the conference with consecutive defeats following a 51-45 loss at Connecticut on Saturday. Leading scorer Sean Kilpatrick tossed in 16 points and posted five yanks but was just 4-16 shooting with Shaquille Thomas next in line with eight points and five pulls.
