The Boise State Broncos will end their regular season with a road matchup against the Air Force Falcons. When these teams met back on January 29, the Broncos won 69-58.
The Broncos continue to play streaky basketball, as they’ve won four of their last six games and are coming off a double-overtime loss to Nevada. During their last five games, they’re averaging 76.8 points on 47.6 percent shooting and are allowing 76.8 points on 47.3 percent shooting. Those numbers are pretty much on par for what they’ve done all season, and Ryan Watkins is coming off his second 20 plus point performance in four games. On the road, they average 71.2 points and allow 71.7 points. They are 8-17 ATS overall and 6-7 ATS on the road.

The Falcons have lost four of their last five games and have really only won five games in the year of 2014. They’re struggling mightily at both ends of the floor, as they’re scoring just 57.2 points on 36.4 percent shooting and are giving up 73 points on 49.2 percent shooting in their last five contests. They’ve been held to under 70 points in 12 straight games. These struggles have also taken place at home, a place where they average just 66.6 points and allow 73.8 points. They are 13-10 ATS overall and 5-7 ATS at home.
With the lack of offense the Falcons play, Boise State should have no problem putting up a big number. The problem is that Boise State isn’t known for defense either, so if there was a game Air Force could break out of its shooting slump, it would be this one.
The underdog is 4-1 ATS in the last five meetings between these two teams, and I like that trend to continue. It’s the last home game for the Falcons, and they’ll be eager to try and end their season on a positive note.
Give me the points and the home team.
